Here we see the town of Grammichele, Sicily, built in the traditional hexagonal style. Located in the province of Catania, it was founded in 1693 after the nearby town of OcchialĂ  was destroyed by an earthquake.

The top photo is seemingly from some sort of postcard or something and seems, in my considered opinion, pretty old. The second is in the public domain per Wikimedia. There are a number of better, more recent aerial pictures of the town that I am hesitant to use here due to their uncertain copyright status, but which I may add in the future if their disposition can be clarified.
