The hexagonal structure of lenticular objects

Image

The geometrical lens is a convex shape comprising the intersection between two circular arcs. Note that the same principle can be applied to three dimensions as well—three-dimensional lenses in the "real world" can be conceptualized geometrically as the shared space between two overlapping 2-spheres.

Note well that this lenticular shape is one associated with certain conventional UFO sightings—the smooth, featureless lenticular saucer. Indeed, one could conjecture, I suppose, that even non-lenticular saucers could be conceived of as perhaps elaborations on an underlying lenticular theme or structure.

One could—and indeed I will—speculate that perhaps UFOs of the flying saucer variety could be interpreted as some sort of hyperspatial overlapping of n-spheres from other levels of reality with spacetime.
