The following is a selection of very short edumacational videos I've created to demonstrate elementary hexagonal geometries, as well as some other crap:
- Constructing a regular hexa-gon - An olde-fashioned look at constructing a hexagon in the traditional manner
- Phi - A rather cryptic demonstration of one of many ways to derive the golden ratio from hexagonal constructions. The very first proper Flash animation I ever made.
- Saturn hexagon, from Cassini - Infrared timelapse of the Saturn hexagon from Cassini - Created by NASA and in the public domain
- A series of cubes - A brief video I made to demonstrate the principle of hex numbers being the difference between consecutive cubes (it's not a big truck...)
Also, from Youtube:
- Triumph of the Hexagon - My flagship hexagon video, which I no longer particularly care for, but which is still interesting
Please also see our page of interesting videos, which features a small assortment of independently-made videos from Youtube that may or may not be of interest to the hexagonally-minded viewer.
